Fueling your runs correctly is so important particularly if you are aiming to go further, or run faster. Here is my video guide to fueling and nutrition with a sneak peek inside my box of running snacks.

This guidance is all about fueling during a run or race rather than carb loading before or recovery nutrition afterwards.

My top fueling recommendations are:

Active Root liquid calories

Homemade favourites are:

  • Salted boiled potatoes

  • Peanut butter sandwiches/wraps on white bread

  • Salted peanuts

  • Prawn cocktail crisps

  • Jam donuts
